I need to report a
conduct problem.

You can go to GOD or ask anyone with a radio to contact someone from Conduct for you.

Yes

Are you at
an event?

No

The Conduct team member will meet with you and ask you to tell them what happened.

You will get a response to say your email has been received within 24 hours.

If you experience a breach of conduct at an event, you will get a quicker response and resolution if you can report it immediately. If you are unable to report at an event, you can always report by email at any times between events.

Someone from Conduct will read your report and be in touch with you within two weeks.

You will be asked what you want to happen, and your wishes will be considered.

A permanent record will be made of your complaint.

Yes

Do you want to
stay anonymous?

No

Conduct will investigate your complaint. This will include speaking to other people involved, including the person you feel broke the conduct.

If other complaints are made against the same person, your complaint will be taken into consideration when deciding on further action.

Conduct will meet to decide on the outcome of the complaint and any sanctions necessary.

If a complaint has already been made against this person such that they would receive a sanction at the point they re-offend – ie they have a previous anonymous complaint, or a previous warning - then they will now receive a sanction.

Possible outcomes are: A caution, A warning, with or without a sanction, A ban.

You will be informed of the outcome within two weeks.

If the complaint is taking longer to resolve – eg, because other people need to be contacted, or because volunteers are unavailable to handle the complaint immediately – you will be kept up to date every two weeks.

If at a later date the person receives a sanction that is relevant to your complaint – eg, because another complaint is made against them - you will be updated to keep you informed.
